The Kulmino water tower at Notre-Dame-de-Monts in the Vendée is both a unique tourist attraction and an essential link in the drinking water supply chain. Its impressive 5,000 m³ tank ensures daily water distribution to several coastal and island communities: Saint-Jean-de-Monts, Notre-Dame-de-Monts, La Barre-de-Monts, Île de Noirmoutier and Île d’Yeu.
After treatment, the water is stored in the building before being conveyed to homes using the principle of communicating vessels, guaranteeing constant pressure at the tap. A place that combines essential technical functions with educational discovery.
